1 7/8" LT Headers + E85 expected gains?

I'm looking to slap on some 1 7/8" LT Headers and get a flex-fuel kit then dyno tuned hopfully within the next few weeks, and was wondering: has anyone else here done the same and have some before and after dyno numbers? How much should I expect realistically with just those mods alone plus tune? I don't have any plans yet to add anything else, those are my main priority mods, and want to know what to expect

40-50 to the wheels. Very significant gains. Why not add a ported intake and TB along with a cold air?

I'm on a budget... I found a whole in my wallet earlier this year that set me back quite a bit (found out my wife had opened up a credit card I didn't know about and almost all my go-fast money saved up had to go to cover that shit )

Those are next, but I wont be able to justify that till after Christmas... I could wait and sit on the headers and flex fuel till I can get some more bolt ons then tune, but patience is not a strength of mine

So adding ported TB and cold air, along with headers and e85, think I can get close to 100 extra HP?

No hard numbers here, but I have a little experience...

Friend of mine bought a Charger 392 Daytona SCAT SRT...can't remember all of the names of it...anyways, we ran stock vs stock from a roll and I pulled him by about a car or 2 (didn't run the race out too long). Threw flex fuel kit on it, the car and filled it up with E. HP Tuners said 67% Ethanol. Anyways, we just put a base tune on it and reran. This time I had an extra passenger, but I put an easy 4+ cars on him, running away from him the whole race whereas before it was a slow creep. That is just a flex fuel kit (DSX) and a base tune, no headers yet.

We haven't made any revisions in the tune because I just decided to throw the headers on next week, hope to have it tuned before the weekend is over. I won't be getting any decent air over summer to run a good track time, but I might throw it on the dyno and I'll definitely be reracing some cars I already have while waiting for that sweet fall air to come back.

Pray ported intake, Rotofab, ported TB made 412/400 on a Mustang Dyno. I added 1 7/8 ARH and Flex Fuel made 456/440 on the same Dyno at 71% ethanol. Your car will pull noticably harder

I have both these parts going into my car sometime mid July, so I'll be able to give you a response then, but from what I've seen on the forums it's probably somewhere between 35-55 whp depending on your ethanol percentage.

What about 91 tune, headers and CAI? 20-30 WHP I would be guessing. But yeah, E85, headers and CAI can get about 30-40 WHP is pretty damn good.

I was at the track last night. My car is 100% stock. Poor launches so mph may have been fractionally higher on a good launch but I was barely over 111. Gotta love the Florida weather. There was another 6th gen with headers, exhaust, cold air intake, e85 and drag radials (per owner). I saw him trap 116.x and 117.6.

Compare that to me trapping 114-115 without exhaust on streets this past Thurs in FL with a DA of 3000. Headers will wake it up along with the other mods. Might have to get them installed at some point in the future.

You can expect this kind of performance (or better) in the summer heat with just a CAI and a custom tune from EFITuning...
I'm in the right lane BTW

You can't compare your time with mine. Different day, different track. Here's a better way to make a comparison based on mods, but still with many different factors such as environment and day (at the same track):

My car stock: 12.3@112
Tune and PTB: 11.99@114
E85 (55%), tune, PTB and PIM: 11.8@118

All of that with stock tires. The OP will have great gains, but cannot compare to you or me. He needs to compare his gains at his elevation and track conditions with his own car or cars in the area.

Some people will run at a track like ours and expect the 11.2 that some people have gotten out of simple bolt ons. There are way too many variables.

My personal car with FBO (MSD intake) and E85 went 11.65 @ 120.3 on Continental DWs (stock size). DA was +1000 ft. 60' was 1.79. Stock rev limiter as well.

A couple of the less than great 60' times were trapping almost 122.

DA is the value needed if you want to compare with others.
