I have nothing but good things to say about Matt. He even came to me during the HRE show to say hi and chat. I had fun!

If I may re: dash stuff: it's a matter of details.
I personally care less about the dash pad and whether it's soft touch... My own individual OCD is tied up with the cheap plastic flashing manufacturers leave on all the interior parts. My -V, on the steering column around the key insert, has this very cheap clamshell plastic part underneath covering the steering column, and it has an ugly seam right below the key that looks like it was pulled out of a mold and simply slapped on the car without any finishing. Worse yet, the front doors have large handle-pulls you're supposed to use to close the door, and every time I reach in and touch it to pull the door closed - a sharp plastic flashing edge. This on a $70k+ car when it was new. These interior detail elements are the pieces GM needs to continue to refine and get better at if you guys want to stop hearing reviewers complain.

YEp...he is and always has been an A-hole. The idiot wants a leather dash because he wants to sit his fatazz on it I guess. Chevy went through this car eliminating weight down to the ounce level even uneccesary screws. Why the hell would they go back and add a covering to the dash to increase weight??
