Yeah, I agree. This is one reason why I wanted to mock it up first.

I think a classic chrome design like the one on Eleanor would be ok, but these add-on/replacements just don't quite make it.

An honest answer. Not digging it at all. It's not as bad as the GM filler door but I couldn't do that to a Camaro.

I'm not a fan, but I'm honestly not a fan of any fuel door covers. The whole point of the fuel door is to hide the filler, I just don't understand slapping an adhesive wart on it to draw attention.

Agreed 100% however I applaud this person for taking the time and generating this and asking for honest opinions. I don't like it, I don't like fuel door covers whatsoever but his skills may be able to be used in making other accessories for our cars.

I appreciate the talent and time taken to develop and make it, but I'm not a fan either. To me the fuel door isn't something I want standing out. Sort of like a big, gawdy piece of jewelry on a beautiful woman. Not needed and tends to distract.
