I and few other members are present at the VIR full course Audi Club event. It is an "open track" format which lends itself to mega track time. Weather looks great, and I shall see how the new LS7 works which is stock with headers.

I had two days and almost 300 miles on track and after a string of 2:11 lap times trying everything to get that extra tenth here and there. I decided to relax and really concentrate and hit my marks on a clean lap with no traffic. My best lap on the last session with a clean lap was 2:10.5! This is with the stock LS7 and headers which equates to 100rwhp less than the previous engine and previous best of 2:10.9. It was great seeing Stock Boy and SSSoon there. SSSoon's car is awesome and had power steering issues. Stock Boy has a wicked 1LE and was running great. Can't wait for the next event!

That's a killer time! I'm hoping to make it on May 1st or 2nd with PDE.

Do you have any video? That's a LOT of track time! I'm betting that your fuel bill cost more than the entry fee.

I do have video and just haven't had time to review it. I definitely went through some fuel and need to determine the exact amount. Fuel cost was approximately $200 and the two day event was $500ish.

What camera are you using (exact model), are you using the built in audio and where is it mounted? The audio sounds decent and the view from the front bumper is my favorite because it gives the best sense of speed.

Go Pro Hero 3 (5yrs old). It is mounted on the tow hook by the ZL1 add ons mount.
