Trying to decide which one I should buy and keep on wanting a z28 but really like th features of the new 1le.

What would you guys recommend?

z28 iconic and sure to hold value at some point.

1le just as fast and a lot more creature comforts.

In the end I 'd probably go with the Z on looks and feel alone, but definitely would be on the look out for some HID headlights since chevy thought the 2 pound ballasts were too heavy to add on. LOL.

It mainly depends on the purpose of the vehicle...Do you intend to do a lot of track racing or is it going to be daily driven???The Z28 is a bad mofo, but it has it's limits in comfort and gimmicks...The 1le will have a slight performance loss, but has all the creature comforts and gimmicks...Unless you're in your 20's the Z28's possible value as a collector will not be an issue because you'll probably be dead...

No ac on the z can be a deal killer if it's ever driven on the street.

For the 2014 z28, only about 7% came without AC

I guess I'm biased since I have a z28, but I wouldn't trade mine in for a 2017 1le, wouldn't trade it in for a 2017 zl1 either though.

A new 1LE might be quicker being lighter and more power then a LS3 and less then a LS7. But go look at the G force corner data. The Z28 can pull more G's in a corner. Modding a LS7 with a Cam swap will make up that power to weight ratio in a heartbeat. Down the road the Z28 probably going to not lose money where after awhile the 1LE is looked upon like a SS.

If it were me Id buy the Z/28. If I was able to afford one at the time when I bought my 1LE I would have.
