Chip Damage on rear qtr panels

Anybody else getting slight chips in the paint on the rear qtrs? Just where the rear qtr begins to flare out. 1600 miles and I'm flipping out over this

Welcome to my world, just got one last night right above the factory clear protector. Ordering ZL1addon rock guards. Paint shop can touch it up but it won't be a perfect blend.

Oh well.. these things are inevitable unfortunately.

How many do rock chips do you have?

I had mine clear bra'd... All the way up to the crease just below the window from the door to the end of the fuel door.

They had to remove it to repaint the quarter panels for the crappy paint by the trunk lid :(. So I have a set of ZL1 Addons mud flaps to *try* and protect it until 30 days pass and the paint is no longer too soft to have clear bra re-applied. My car should be done tomorrow thankfully...

I'm adding mud flaps for this reason, hope they help.. and when side skirts come out that I like (c7 etc) I'll probably get those. The c7 guys have the same issue. The c7 carbon side skirts solved that issue for me.

I've just bought rpi mud flaps because of the same problem. Cost me $60 for the front flaps and install took me 5 minutes. I could hear the difference as the rocks are hitting the mud flaps. They also don't look bad at all on my car. You should definitely look into some kind of protection.

Don't think that mudflaps on the front are totally going to keep it from getting to the rear. The only thing that will protect it is more paint film, or side rockers.

I put the OE splash gaurds on and no chips in front of the rear wheels after 7000 miles. You can see both front and rear here.
