With all things considered I'm quite happy with it. Fitment was good, the only thing about the design that concerned me was the vacuum fittings are on the bottom rear. This would allow any oil ingested to puddle and contaminate the map if mounted there. I moved the ports to the rear on mine. Drivability is great. I ran the stock manifold during break in, I see no difference in start up or low end performance, throttle response is no different. Keep in mind though that everything was spec'd specifically for use with it and with max hp at higher rpm's. Heat soak is a concern. While driving or on hard pulls IAT is fine, when the car sits, as it would between 1/4 passes it gets quite hot but does cool down quickly once driving again. Also, it echoes the noises from the valve train and is loud enough to hear it from inside the cabin.

I'm going to have to consider this ..... hmmmmm. I wonder if this will work with the GMPP CNC ported heads.

Thought I'd refresh this with some solid info. Although I don't have anything to compare it to I had a chance to get a couple of pulls on the dyno. My motor is a 418 stroker, LLSR, 11.8:1, 391's. The car is far from running optimal, you'll see a dip in the torque curve and hp where it ran a little lean and pulled timing. The first pull we took to 6800 and it was still making power, second pull was to 7200 where it just started to drop off. This graph is on a mustang dyno with the converter unlocked. It also still has 1 3/4 try's on it. So you can see the potential.

I'm quite happy with the numbers taking some variables in consideration. That's why I mentioned the unlocked stall in case anyone was wondering about the low torque numbers and that there was a bit more there in hp as well.
