Access denied?
Tried going to the site using the link and also through google and get an error message Access Denied. This is not happening on other sites but I cant get in to your site. I did notice earlier today it said welcome to the updated site but then it failed after that.

Hi I have wider wheels on the back and front 9"X 20 on front and 10 X 20 on rear looking for 265/40/20 front and 295or 305/35/20 for rear the Tire rack site says they don't have this size in performance tires? any tips from you? I can find these sizes on other sights Les Scwabb can get Pirelli's, nitto's, or continentals. I would like to support the C5 site thanks

Trying to package wheels and tires - Rudy?
Hey Rudy -
I was trying to use the tirerack.com site to finally put together a wheel and tire package. I currently have a 2011 2SS with stock wheels (but black powder coated) and stock 245/45-20's in front and 275/40-20's in the rear. I want to move to a wider tire in both front and back, in the neighborhood of the stock ZL1 setup (275 or 285/35 (or 40)-20 frt and 305/35-20 Rear I think) but finding wheels that are known to have the right offset / backspace dimensions has been challenging. I also have to have a wheel that is entirely matte black (no chrome or bare aluminum anywhere - the rest of the car is quite blacked-out on Synergy Green). I finally decided to give the wheels that come up on the TR site a try (at face-value that they will fit for offset / backspace), so... I went and found these - Advanti BO Bello (pretty limited options in all black and wide enough), but then when choosing the option to "find a tire and wheel package", the site said "We're sorry, there are no tires available for your vehicle". What gives? It looks like tirerack has at least P-Zero's in 275/40-20 and 305/35-20. Any help you can give would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, -Ray |

Might be a dumb question but does Tirerack carry Nitto?

So, my local dealer (Lone Star) drive out price (included Tax, Road Force Balancing, alignment & Road Hazard). was cheaper than TireRack's online quoting system for shipped tires alone.
Is this normal or my local dealer just crazy insane? Are mark ups on tires that ludicrous? Is TireRack's online quoting out of date? Maybe he installed left over inventory even though he informed me I had to wait a week for "them to arrive". I'm really confused. |
