Hey Tiffany, thanks for reaching out, but I am currently not looking at getting headers at this time. Trying to port and coat the stock tri-Y's to see what (if any) performance gains can be had.

Really like the gloss black deck lid spoiler! Was the wrap a great deal less expensive than paint, or were you allowing yourself the option to go back to white just in case?

I'm considering the same mod (will probably have to resort to paint- no "wrappers" in this part of Utah, LOL), but was wondering if you had any second thoughts about the color contrast on that part.

Thanks and keep up the great reporting- it's very helpful!

I really like the set up you have but to be honest the ACS decklid spoiler may look better in the same color matching so that the Black GFX stands out more as i feel it clashes together a bit. I was looking at your older picture below on your signature and kinda think it really looked much better before some of the most recent upgrades to the exterior. Just my opinion but keep up the good work on the updates and videos!

Sledge, your caliper paint video & this journal inspired me to paint my calipers. Great work on the car & videos, much appreciated! Thanks!

I didn't want to spend the money to paint it knowing I was going to replace the entire spoiler once someone released a spoiler design I liked. Overall the ACS design is cool, but I will most likely still keep looking at options as they become available.

I think the color contrast helps the car pop a bit more. Overall the car needs to be lowered as the body kit makes it look like it is off the ground even higher than it is. Also those wheel gaps!

But everyone has different tastes and I respect your opinion.

Hey Sledge, I'm new to the forum but I love your journal and have enjoyed a few of your videos on YouTube. We have very similar tastes in terms of black contrast elements on the new SS. My NFG 2SS is currently undergoing a pretty massive XPel and ceramic pro install, as well as blacking out the roof, side mirrors, and rear spoiler. I am a little upset with myself that I moved forward with wrapping the side mirrors prior to seeing your video here. Hopefully it turns out nice.

Anyway, your car looks great and congrats on the new ride!

His car being an A8 invalidates all the great info in the videos?

Also, IIRC, Sledge earlier commented that his commute is 200+ miles a day. You want to M6 your way thru all that traffic? I sure wouldn't.

I used to drive 5,000 miles a month in southern California traffic and wouldn't even consider switching to auto. Traffic, especially traffic on hills, is when I enjoy having stick the most.
But hill start assistance does ruin it a little bit:(
