Just wanted to come back to this thread and update you guys, ever since they replaced my exhaust the rattle is gone. So looks like it's been resolved in the newer systems - definitely have the dealer order you a new one if you have this issue.

Hmm, I noticed the rattle almost immediately on my first exhaust - probably within the first 100 miles. I've driven about 800 miles on the new exhaust and still no rattle, but I'll let you guys know if it comes back.

My exhaust has been replaced for two weeks now and I'm happy to report both the squeak of the valves opening and closing as well as the rattle are both in fact gone. I'm happy the dealer decided to replace the exhaust rather than apply the fix.

Anyone have an idea why npp can stay stuck in open valve mode...and with fuse 51 in and fine!!

not really getting a rattle more of a squeak from the valves, playing with it at the drive thru and everytime I would switch it would squeak pretty loud.

First car I had for 2200 miles, never had the problem. Second car is at 1700 miles, no problem yet.

What does it sound like? In 2nd gear at like 2k rmp if I'm only giving it light gas it sounds like it rattles
