Can't help, sorry. But I will stick around.
I've been wanting to know if the rotors and calipers package is a good fit on my SS.

Wait a little while and they will show up on Amazon for 1/2 that.

Why spend so much money on a GM gen 6 brake package when you already have brembos. Just replace your rotors with any number of slotted and drilled options already available for 1/3rd the price and have the same look and performance.

Also, the guy wanted 2 piece rotors for the rear. My link had 2 piece rotors front and rear available now and that fit the gen 5 application.

Why do we insist on making things so complicated?
Who wants gen 6 ss brakes on a gen 5 zl1 anyway?
You already have an awesome brake package, just replace the rotors if you want drilled and slotted.
Agreed. I think some just want to stay with Chevy parts thinking they are better engineered or made just for the car. And if the part you are looking for is part of a "Performance" package Chevy really pumps up the price. Aftermarket parts can be better and cheaper. Shop well.

And how about the $3,000 price tag for the dealer installed (I think) 6 piston upgrade. Silly. Chevy may be pricing the Camaro a bit out of the market. But doing great things for the car from the performance perspective.

Don't forget that Chevy doesn't manufacture the rotors they are farmed out!

Most aftermarket companies get contracted to make a rotor brake package that Chevy uses for their own sales. I would say look around as I did. I now use Racing Brake rotors as they are local for me, and have done research on what works. They have several cars that are tracked using their products. They then ask for feedback to improve upon the existing design. In this case you get what you pay for. Cheaper rotors can be problematic in a longer period of time. I do not work for or get any compensation from RB, just impressed with their commitment to being another possible choice.

Hi guys,

Has anyone confirmed these new slotted GM rotors will work on current ZL1's? I am interested in getting these for my Ctsv which shares current Zl1 hardware.

Thanks for any info!
