Few questions about tuning remotely

Is remote tuning the same as getting the email tunes?
Is there anyone highly recommended by you guys?
What Software/Hardware or programmer would I need?

I have an inTune i-1000 that came with the car, is that something I can use?

Thanks for the help!

Yes
Be prepared for 20 different answers
That depends on your tuner but I use HPtuners

It's not much help but it will all depend which tuner you use and software they use to tune

Appreciate all the answers including the PMs. I'm reaching out to a few and see what I like best. flyer08 is right, there are many tuners and different ways of doing it. Sigh, more hours on the computer haha

I think you can get get a custom email tune with the Diablo so that might be a good place to start. I think HPtuners is really good if you know how to tune a car yourself. I didn't so I got an SCTX4 with Custom Email Tune from Dynosteve.

Of course a Dyno tune is likely the best if your car has mods and it appears to have a different motor at least.

Remote tuning and Email tuning are the same.

I have remote tuned many Camaros in HI, so I am familiar with your fuel and your environment.

Your Diablo I-1000 Tuner works well for simple bolt ons, Supports custom email tuning, and I can provide a great custom tune for you.

Shoot me an email at tedj@jannettyracing.com

Ted and Steve are the top two (most used) tune sources here at C5. I got mine from Steve because RDP had a great package deal on Stainless Power LT headers and SCT-X4 tuner, but Ted and Jannetty are equally fine vendors here. Can't go wrong with either one.
