APR Splitter

Those who have gotten their APR splitter, I was just wondering if yours was pre-cut or if it was a much bigger piece of carbon fiber than the one I got. Reason I ask is because judging off of most of the pictures i've seen of these splitters installed on ZL1's, it seems like the amount the splitter sticks out would hardly leave room for mounting holes on mine. I haven't fit it just yet, it's sitting at the body shop along with my ZL1 bumper conversion. The box it came in was also labeled ZL1, so I don't think it's a mix up but i could be wrong. Also, if any of you could include how you installed yours (bolts or the push pins from the stock lower grille) that would be awesome!

Alright, good, definitely comforting to hear. Thanks for the input! Can't wait to get my ZL1 kit and splitter all bolted onto the car. Should have the car back next week

Looks the same as mine when I got it. I actually took the whole front end off then took the lower grill apart and used a 90 degree punch to line it up while sitting in the splitter. Was a pain in the butt, but I really didn't want to risk not drilling the wholes correctly in a $300 price of carbon fiber!

Here is mine I.... I too recommend taking off the bumper and doing it that way. Its allot of hardware so it more comfortable and easier to manage when your not on your back.

Shops doing the install because I didn't want to be liable for any damages to such an expensive piece lol, but they're doing my bumper swap at the same time, so im sure theyre gonna have the bumper off and won't have any issues. Plus, if they screw it up, their dime, not mine! Lol

Quick question, where's everyone mounting the top of the support rods to? I keep reading the frame in the instructions, but I everyone seems to just drill into top of the lower grille

This is where I'd assumed it was supposed to attach to, just not sure if it would reach, but I may be wrong

Update, visited the body shop. Splitter looks amazing (along with my ZL1 conversion). Still waiting on the heritage grille, after that some final adjustments will be made and she'll be done
