OK, wired up the Analog 2 (white wire from the gauge is 2, green wire is analog 1) and added the ground -- Air Temp is now showing from the CAI! I did notice their sender is about 4* cooler than ambient, but that's is just for reference...
Here is the wiring and setup: Wire's pulled though the gauge and into the access panel -- hooked up the 5V regulator kit from AeroForce, solder the green and black wires -- blacks are ground, added the tap a circuit and grounded the wires. Did a test! Temps! Intake Air is from the SC (I did start the car, thus the difference) and the CAI temp: Ambient: Cleaned up and ready for testing: Now I can see what's going on! -Don

Took it for a drive, air Temps are varying by 4° to 10° cooler than ambient will driving; assume that is the difference in the sensor calibration using the Aeroforce regulator. Still, nice to have Temps from the CAI as reference...

Well, gotta do the drive cycles again for emissions after the tune. Gonna take about 2 weeks, just like last time... Maybe less since it's over 40* now... Car and gauges are working great....

Thanks! It is a long one, but not the longest ;o) Many others have done quite a bit more. It's been fun to learn and share...
I'm an old guy so it takes me longer these days to do the work myself... -Don

Took it out the past couple of days to get it ready for emissions and, the dreaded 'clicking' noise in the rear is showing up.
If you're not familiar with that, here is a thread: http://www.camaro5.com/forums/showthread.php?t=225109 For me, the 11 2SS is the one I'm more interested in: http://www.camaro5.com/forums/showpo...&postcount=166 Mine is clicking in the right rear -- not all the time -- but I'd bet that is what it is. So, gotta look into that... The updated part number for the improved washer is: 11611965 May be time to get the upgraded 1LE/ZL1 Axle hubs and DSS axles now... -Don
