I upgraded from the stock 3.8 pulley to the 3.6 this summer. I did not need to change my belt. I did however upgrade to the ZL1 fuel pump and ADM Fuel control module.

You should always run the shortest belt you can fit on the combination with the sliding adjustable pulley backed off.

Then start and run the car and see where the tensioner is running.

Then adjust the sliding pulley just under the jackshaft to increase tension to max, start the car and recheck where tensioner is running in the range.

Adjust as necessary to get it to set at the highest tension.

Ted.

This Spring I upgraded to the ZL1 pump and ADM fuel control module. At that time I switched from the stock 3.8 pulley to the 3.6. I have not noticed any slippage yet which I figured I would not. I am now ready for more power and am looking to go smaller again along with upgrading my injectors to accomidate my fuel needs. At what point will I start to see the belt slip? Can I get away with the following sizes with no issues: (3.4, 3.3, or 3.2) My other option would be to go to the OD cog drive, but if I don't have to remove the blower I don't want to. What are some of the setups you guys are running and do you have issues with the belt slipping? I guess I'm not sure what it would take to get me to 600 or just above at the wheels.

Thanks guys

Here's a pic of the blower for ref:

You have all the supporting mods to make 600 RWHP safely.

There is risk in everything but why not take advantage of Proven combinations.

Add our JRE 3.4 pulley and JRE supertensioner and your on your way.

Ted.

Are you saying you don't know how my car is making 575 with those mods... or are you trying to say its risky to make that much power? Keep in mind every dyno is different. I am on a dynojet. If I went on one of the local tuners in my areas Mustang dyno I would probably yeild 40 less at the wheels. I know... I have been on both dynos to compare before my blower. I guess Im not exactly sure what you are saying.... sorry.

i think with your mods it should be less than 575 rwhp with dyno jet. it look like your timing high too much!. that why i said ( risky ) by the way very good number & good job

I'll check the link out. I am running the 3.6 pulley, however I am taking it off and putting the 3.8 back on because I just purchased and overdrive cog pulley. I will have to see what my numbers are after that.
