Question To those with ZL1 REAR rock guards

I need major HELP just bought these but had no idea there is more to installing these then just placement, any DIY videos out there or any help would be appreciated. Looking to get these on asap, Thanks in advance

Did you buy the right year? . . . 2012-2013 is one design and 2014-2015 are different.

I also am assuming you bought OEM guards, not aftermarket.

Should just have to unscrew the rear fender liner, remove backing of double stick tape on rock guards, line the rock guards up with the holes for the bumper, apply pressure along double stick tape, replace fender liner and screw everything down.

I had to drill out the rivets that hold the stock plastic spacer brackets on and replace them with the brackets you get in the ZL1 rear rock guard kit. The directions should tell you how to do this. There is a piece of 3M double stick tape that you need to peel the cover off so it can help the rock guard sit flush against the inside of the rear bumper edge.

When you drill the rivets out, you may need to remove the rear wheels. Fortunately on mine, I was able to do it with them still on.
