Were either of those cars autos? If so disappointed transmission can't be adjusted too. I hate that my BMW automatically goes into sport shift mode when I go into Sport mode. Which essentially locked the car out of 8th gear at any legal speed.

I don't think you can adjust the transmission, just when you out the driver mode selector jnto either sport or track, it automatically hold shifts more aggressively, etc. The system is kind of simple, either just leave steering, exhaust, and suspension in auto mode or you can manually select what mode you want each of the 3 to be in, that is really it. I thought it was going to be more complex and more selections, but it is not.

Agreed. I'm wondering what the shift logic and firmness will be in Sport. At least I can have heavier steering and open exhaust in tour if I want.

I am guessing that sport and track will differ, track being more aggressive and holding shifts longer than sport. Yeah it is cool that you can customize to what you want, without being restricted to what they think it should be.

Thinking about it, I think you can choose the general mode using the console selector, then go into the radio and customize.

For example, if you want track throttle progression and transmission, but everything in else in Sport, select track driver mode then customize the suspension, steering, and exhaust to sport.

See I'd like sport or track throttle, exhaust track, steering sport, and trans tour (or at least where it will use 8th when I'm crusing). Weird I know. I'm good with firm shifts and holding gear longer, but reserving 8th gear for 100mph like my BMW does in sport auto mode.

Sorry missed your question. I think both cars were manuals so the automatic could very well have adjustment. Didn't think to check.

I looked through the owner's manual but couldn't find it spelled out. So maybe someone else can conform.

Yeah, none of what I did in the video is spelled out in the manual.

Not sure why they allowed everything to be customized except Throttle Progression/Shift Behavior.... perhaps there's some sort of GM internal reason....

Perhaps I'm wrong but most people would rather change their suspension settings more often than their throttle sensitivity. Whether is a dull or twitchy go pedal folks desire, they usually stick to that....

Would be easier to change suspension settings on the fly if Throttle Progression coul dbe locked in a mode.... when I start driving over crappy streets I dont want to have to modify my right foot travel as a consequence....
