I can't remember where I saw it, but if I come across it I will link it. I seriously doubt the high ends trims which will have the 8" screens be left in the dark.

Maybe the GM Media Press Release? I have seen it but it has been a long day for me so I will wait to look for now.
Laborsmith I frankly did not realize it would be questioned. |

Can someone help me understand "included in equipment group" vs "A1". For example with the illuminated door sill plates does that mean they're available as part of the 2 LT package (but only if you get lighting/convenience package) but standard as part of the 2 SS

That was a prototype though. In other prototypes I've seen a mismatch of parts (such as aluminum shifter knob on the hyper blue 1SS) that don't line up with the order guide either. I'd trust the order guide at this point - I doubt there will be many changes.

Does anyone know how the available 20" low gloss black tires will interact with the RS package on the 2LT? Will they cost the same with or without the RS package, or will they be cheaper/ free with the RS package?

Android Auto may be available on the 8" screen per this press release: http://media.chevrolet.com/media/us/...7-carplay.html
I believe there is a more definite statement but I could not find it. Laborsmith |

Which is probably good because something I learned while looking for that link is Android Play seems to have stability issues. Hopefully those will be resolved before the Camaro hits the dealerships. Don't know about CarPlay as I did not look there.

Sounds like you have to get the nav option for the android auto and apple car play or whatever they're called. That's disappointing.

The order guide says that Apple and Android compatibility is in the base radio system. The two optional versions with the 8" screens specifically list Apple compatibility. But the compatibility with Android should end up on them as well.
