Joined the 1LE V8 crew today
Just wanted to share my excitement with you guys. After seeing the leaked photos of the 2016 I myself was not personally sold it.
Took a trip down to my dealer and talked about trading my V6 for a V8. After some talking and negotiating I was able to order a 2015 1SS RS 1Le for $38,300. On my trade (by the time the vehicle is built and delivered I will be even on my trade so no negative equity). And oddly enough insurance is cheaper on the V8 Manual? Go figure haha. But I went with the NPP Dual Mode Exhaust as well. Will hopefully be posting pictures in about 6 - 8 weeks!

Congrats! Weird about the insurance being less for the V8, I guess it makes some sense since the V8's are usually owned by older guys that can afford them.
Good choice going with the NPP, I love mine.

Weird, the sales manager called and verified they are still producing them. It better be a 15 :( haha.
But I will keep you guys updated if I hear anything back. I'm supposed to hear back this week when it's going to production. Crossing my fingers. |
