I may have figured out who got arrested. Imad Khalil was arrested on 5/8 for reckless driving. A quick search pulls up his Facebook page and although I didn't see a pic of his car, I do see a few challenger pics. It also looks like he is still sitting in jail since this happened probably waiting to be arraigned.

So funny how some think they can just ignore things like this with social media and everything nowadays. Hope they get sued over this and the arresting officer loses his job.

If he already has a attorney, you could pick up the phone book and make a few calls. Tell them that you have video proof of innocence and that you are trying to find the guys attorney to give the tape to. You may get lucky and call the right person or at least someone who knows who has the case.

You could also look up who all the district judges are and contact their offices. Surely one of them would be willing to listen and get you the information you need or better yet ask to see the proof and may just order his release.

Personally I would try these first before going to the media and making a fool out of the officer in front of the public.

I'm not Reddit- literate, but a friend suggested that this be posted in Reddit... she assures me that Reddit exposure, especially "cross posting in a few subs" (?!?) for maximum exposure will turn this into a public story very quickly.

Not even wanting to see proof that he stopped and charged an innocent person and not trying to make it right.

Hey Drumminxx,

I don't think this is the guy. 2 reasons: 1) I saw him briefly put the suspect in the back in handcuffs (looked to have a bald head and looked to be of African decent, if I recall correctly)
2) the booking time doesn't match 100% this happened at 3PM (3:02-3:05PM time exact) not the 6:50PM book time on the link. At least that is what I think, I am not too sure.

I am trying to figure out what direction I should take now.

Contact local news outlets or some other option.

I don't want an innocent man to go to jail, but I also don't want to ruin rep of an LEO, even though he doesn't want to see my footage, he may actually be a good cop (doesn't seem so, but I try to give ppl the benefit of the doubt)

I wouldn't call the guy a good LEO if he doesn't want to make sure they got the right guy. I bet the guy arrested has been charged with some serious offenses. I can't imagine how helpless the guy in jail feels right now. I would definitely go to the media so they can get the story out quicker and hopefully get the wrong guy out of trouble.
