The higher the setting the increase would be more, but I would not expect any more than if you had the car tuned, maybe even less in that case.

He also drives a ZL1.

It helps the V6s a lot more (feeling 'quick') than it helps the Z.

Add me to the list of impressed customers! I ordered this along with other intake goodies. I was going to install everything at once but I had to see what all the hype was about. I'm here to say IT'S NOT HYPE!!!!!
Holy crap I almost gave myself whiplash when I went to SP9! SP5 to 7 seem to be the best all around settings. It is unbelievably noticeable in 1st and 2nd gear, and sure makes for a fun drive around town!

what does the controller do when you hit the (A) button? I mean, I found out the hard way what it made my car do, but what is it's specific function?
I was at sp8 and wanted to go back to sp0 and I inadvertently thought the (A) buttom moved it back a step at a time.
Well, it doesn't.
it shows "EC" 0,1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9, depending on how many times you press the button. So I was pressing it at a stoplight thinking I was going back to SP0 and when I looked at it it was at EC7. The light turned green and when I went to roll off it felt like I was powered by a 5hp briggs and Stratton engine! I barely got across the intersection and had to pull over to unfXXk it.
I set it back to EC0 and it's fine, or it seems so.
so what's its purpose, other than making the car feel retarded???????

That is economy mode, EC0 is like SP0 and As you increase the setting it slows the throttle response. So EC7 is like you said, like taking out all but two Cylinders. I keep mine set at EC0 so if I want back to stock I just hit the A Button, then to go back immediately to my SP6 I just hit the B button.
