In before the lock.................
LOL Everyone has an opinion. That's ok, just be able to kind of substantiate it. Not much in the Acura picture looks like the new Malibu or the rendered Camaro based on the Malibu. Oh, and it still seems to be polarizing, but I think the Malibu front is the strongest version GM has done yet. I like it...................that's my opinion. And I substantiate with a poll I just took. 1 out 1 prefer it to previous executions.

If I were nuts about the front of the Chevy Cruze I might agree but there comes a time when each Chevy line should have it's own look. Kinda like that Dodge Truck grille which is the same on all the cars they build. At a point the cross bar became redundant as is the case with that Malibu grille.

I spent 19 years building Chevrolets here on the left coast and it wasn't drop dead gorgeous cars that got us shut down. Nobody love to see them any more successful than I. I own a Chevelle and unlike you very fortunate Camaro owners we can't visit the past but for to keep our old one's going. The new Malibu doesn't do the name justice. Just saying. Doubt you would much like a Camaro that looks like a 2 door Camry either. lol

I like the render, but in MY opinion, the front of the new malibu is horrible. The lower grill looks off to me, Its shaped weird, Maybe because the lower grill is too wide, cant really put my finger on it. It kinda looks like the headlights, lower grill, and air ducts on the bottom sides need to be rotated. They look like they are slanted the wrong way. That's just my opinion though, and chevy can't please everyone.
Back on topic, the render is good, I like the front, not too sure about the back yet. The front bow tie, I think will be in the upper grill. Overall good job though. |
