1le has 3:91 gears right? If so I'll be looking to buy one next week when the pay check comes in.

make sure you buy 1le axles too, you will not be happy when yours break. Seen it twice on the track in a 30 day span

1LE axles will not work on a SS unless you change out the hubs as well... I have a 1LE 3.91 Diff with stock SS axles and all is good.

I paid $1000.00 for the Diff with 100 miles on it, then sold my 3.45 for $650.00

1LE axles work fine with SS hubs. Only difference between 1LE and SS axle is the outer CV joint is 4.375 vs 4.0 respectively. The threaded part of the spindle and nut on the 1LE axle are beefier, but that does not affect fitment.

3:91 installation

I'm looking for a shop in the Syracuse area or within 40mi. that can give me a price on installing a set of 3:91 gears. With me supplying the gear set or the shop, either way. I've called the chevy dealership twice that I bought the car at,put me on hold, waited 20-25 min and hung up on. Another dealership told me at 3:30 pm everybody is busy and they didn't have the time to look up the cost. Please PM me with any suggestions.
Thank You!
