Hi, I'm in the UK and am at the start of a long-term love affair with a 2013 2SS in Euro spec. The mirrors can be manually folded rearwards, by pure coincidence, folding them gets my SS in one of my garage doors with about 40mm to spare each side so I'm grateful they're fitted. Conversely, I foresee an enormous parts bill if I ever smack one. The RPO list of stuff for my car mentions some EU options - dunno if helps at all but I've cut & pasted a section below. Cheers, Ed-
LAMP INTR, AMBIENT CU9 - COUNTRY OF THE UNITED KINGDOM - DOOR HANDLES BODY COLOR D80 - REAR SPOILER - AUTO-DIMMING MAN. FOLD, REPEATERS AUTO-DIMMING MIRROR, FOLDING - INSIDE REARVIEW MIRROR, AUTO DIMMING |

Just sayin' if you're looking for European parts, Canada is a great place to start. They're more connected internationally than the GM dealers in the lower 48. Did you know they speak French in Montreal? And Canada, being "just North," is closer than European countries so shipping won't be as bad. That was my thinking. Thanks for "just google EUROPE. ," though. |

I found part numbers for "less finish" parts, but I'm not sure if the mirrors would be sold painted or unpainted. I found two sets of export part numbers, but I couldn't figure out what the difference is. I suspect the difference is probably heated or unheated. Here are the less finish part numbers. If you let me know what color your Camaro is I'll get you the part numbers for your color.

That's useful info - gonna bookmark that - I'm pretty sure I'll smack one one day, our roads are sometimes barely two (euro)cars wide. My SS is GCO Rally Yellow, if you could supply part numbers for mine I'd be so grateful! Cheers, Ed.

You could post a request at our German Camaro forum:
http://www.camaro2010.de This is the "searching/requesting forum": http://www.camaro2010.de/f53-Suche.html Most members exchanged their EU-spec mirrors to US or aftermarket ones. There should be hundreds of unused and replaced EU-spec mirrors stored away in the garage or basement here in German :-) ...maybe you can find some pre-owned ones in the right color from a member. (I'm keeping mine) Cheers Michael |

I'll ask a friend who already had them exchanged and keep you updated. Which color (paint) do you need?

...so: should hook up to the stock hole location
I guess cables and sorts are identical except that side turning lights won't work for you. For EU, the driver's side mirror is auto dimming, the passenger's side isn't. Best would be to ask on the German forum - others may know better since I'm one of the minority who's keeping the EU style mirrors; English will be OK for asking Cheers Michael |

Hey Michael, that's really useful - many thanks! I've had a look on your Camaro.de website but my lack of Deustche sprechen may be a problem... Would you be willing to ask your guys if someone wants to sell a pair of EU mirrors (preferably in paint code GCO Rally Yellow)? - I will pay all freight charges and a good price for a good pair
Cheers Ed. |

Ok, I finally figured this out. There are part numbers for service primer which is how these mirrors are ordered. You then have to get them painted. These are the service part numbers and they came up when I searched on gmpartsdirect so you should be able to order them through most online GM parts distributors. They aren't cheap though.
