Barton short throw shifter imo. is the better Shifter. Built better then the Hurst, Nicest throw, Choise of shifters, less moving parts, and 30 day mony back guarentee.

Had a Hurst Plus 2 with bronze bushings, sold it and installed a MGW and have never looked back, no more missed gears because of it being so hard to push into gear at higher rpm, the MGW is smooth as butter.

Installed my MGW about a year ago and also would never look back. I tried some friends Hurst shifters and they are fine. MGW is my personal favorite.

I just did a quick review on this one - very happy with it! Great price and quality feel.

The Barton shifter is not an offshoot of the Hurst shifter. The Hurst shift lever connects to the assembly unit with two hex screws why there sloppy. The Barton shifter is one piece less moving parts to vibrate loose, less money, thrity day moneyback guareenty.
