It was nice meeting you at the Fest Steve.

I saw that you were slammed busy with installs but wanted to return the extra Vent to you in person.

Maybe next time we meet we can talk more about the trays

Please keep us informed of your new tray design as I am very interested.
A sliding louver of some sort mounted from below sounds very nice....

I wrapped my saw horses pretty well I can be a bit clumsy.

I was taking the hood off by myself so I taped rags to the edges to prevent scratches.

Hood off, it's not heavy but I wouldn't recommend trying it yourself unless you've got above average, or as I refer to it "Squirrel Strength"

Taped it up, per recommendation I did it twice, glad I did. The jig jumped at one point but didn't scratch the hood through the tape. I also taped the edges to prevent other scrapes.

Taking the pad off, pretty simple I have a trim tool you probably don't need one.
Attachment 379052

Mark on the inside the flip trace and cut, simple as that.

I'm really impressed with how they came out. Two things I've noticed, there's no doubt my engine is running cooler and it already feels a little more stable at speed. It'll be another month or so before I do any top speed runs and can read out on improvments.

Any pics of the under side of the hood?
