Well, the guys that currently own new chargers should have a big smile on their face.

The Taurus Interceptor with ecoboost is pretty peppy, too cramped though. The chargers from the neighboring town can't keep themselves out of the shop for repairs.

Chargers are breaking down left and right for Florida Highway Patrol.

I know...but I'm a Chevy guy, but they didn't have a V8 RWD sedan at the time I got my '08 Charger. I have grown to love the Charger, but wanted the SS Sedan when it came out. But since the SS was not approved , I was stuck with the Charger.
Same here about the repairs, but I don't like FWD/AWD or boosted vehicles, and since the SS was not approved, its the Charger for me. Hopefully, Dodge fixed all the recurring problems.

I few of my friends had problems with their 06 and 07s, MDS system going dead. I have and 08 and only had cooling/radiator problems. Crappy radiators. Some of my friends at work who use their cars for patrol had 12s and 13s, and had engine problems. One was smoking from the engine compartment, but was only the alternator. The only other complaints i'm getting from them is the crappy service from the service department and manager.

Current gen.
I hung out with two state troopers the other week and they were basically doing whatever they could to keep their CVPIs as long as possible.
