Wheel Spacers
I think my wheels need to come out, spaced further out, to line up more flush with the body, as they look a bit factory... so...
What Spacers do I need? Where do I get them? What specs? Do I need longer wheel studs? What about tracking and alignment? Are there ride issues? Are the turning arcs of the wheel in the wheel well OK with this? Are there power or fuel effects? 2010 1LT V6 Camaro 1.2" BMR drop springs 2013 20", 245 front, 285 rear Thanks, |

I was worried about putting spacers/adapters on my car because of all the bad reviews online.. but I ended up buying some (for a different car) and putting it on there.. they weren't even name brand they were like 45$ a piece and worked well (I believe they were aluminum and were thick as hell).. No difference in driving at all and no shakes ect.. Car is a daily driver seeing about 60-70 miles a day..
I would recommend getting spacers/adapters that comes with new threading to be on the safe side. So don't be afraid when you come across folks bashing on spacers.

The more the tire sticks out the more junk will get thrown up on your fenders, then you'll need mud gaurds, just my 2 cents

Im curious, is your car also lowered? If so, have you had any rubbing issues?

Had adapters that pushed the factory RS rims out 1" on all corners and it looked nice(flush w/ the fenders), along w/ a 1" Eibach drop. Only time it would rub along the tire shoulder was when I had rear passengers + large bump.

I have ZL1 springs which lowers about 1/2 inch, but there isn't that much travel, and with the 25MM the tire sits just inside the wheel well. Where I park my car for work is a long dirt road, so I've had Huskey splash guards for a while now. Take a look in my album in my profile,I have many photos.
