New guy with a new camaro

Just bought a 2014 Camaro 2SS. Coupe with sunroof, Rally sport package, all the electronic bells and whistles and its "red hot" paint. Now its just the excruciating wait for it to arrive next week.

Now cosmetic changes right off the bat im thinking of adding in the hood cowl stripes. The stripes that black out the raised bit of the hood. Also gonna get the trunk blacked out too. And probably powdercoat the rims black. I think the black on red combo would look nice.

Any thoughts?

Congrats! Welcome to the club!!! I just got a camaro last week, and the first thing I did was tint the windows... that alone makes it look meaner. Also I would look into plastidipping your wheels first... it gives it that black powder look, but for only $10-$20, (doesn't look cheesy either) That way you can decide if you like the blacked out look.

Some people also put black decals on the side gills. Looks pretty cool. Maybe blackout your chevy bow ties if your going with the darker rims too

Yea i have about six cans of black plastidip in my garage. But where i live i do alot of highway driving and just looking at my friends who plastidip their wheels, the rocks shred it all.

The bowties are easy to do. Ill probably dip all the badging on it. Gonna get a carbon fibre license plate bracket thing too

Might I suggest adding a Catch can to your list of mods? if you plan to keep your car this is a must have!

CONGRATS on your ride and Welcome to our happy little corner of the net, and to Camaro5. There is a BIG fridge on the back porch with anything you can think of in it...help yourself...of course only take what you can LEGALLY have. Make yourself at home on one of the big fluffy couches, kick your shoes off, put your feet up on one of the tables, yes we are allowed to do that, mom's, dad's, wives', husband's, girlfriend's and boyfriend's here don't care....and take it easy.

oh...btw....every once in a while a food fight breaks out...so you may not want to wear nice clothes here.

Welcome!!
