Weird noise coming from rear left tire

Not sure if this is the right place for this, but my rear left tire is making an odd noise when you get driving. The best way to describe it; it sounds like a metal ticking noise when you drive, kind of like when you put a playing card in a bike tire, and let it spin.

I know the rear rotors and pads will have to be done soon, so i'm wondering if that is it.

Any thoughts?

thanks

That's what I initally thought, but it sounds more like a squeeky chair everytime the wheel turns.
