Moisture in headlights

My brand new set of Eagle Eyes headlights has some moisture that looks like a window that needs defrosting just hours out of the box. Only happens after the lights have been on awhile... weather is about 45 degrees I don't know if that has anything to do with it. Does anyone know why this could be happening? Or what can be done to fix it (without exchange). They're brand new for crying out loud!

There not sealed. No way to fix them short of splitting them and resealing them better. Unfortunately it's very common with aftermarket lights of all kinds.

I've had the same issue. Usually after sitting out in the heat for a few hours, it will go away. But when you've got cold weather it's hard to get rid of. It's a bummer for sure.

If you take your eagle eyes back out and go around the seal with clear silicone, that will fix your issue.

I wouldn't have to crack them open would I? Just go over the original seal? That fog only happens when the lights are on and it's cold out but it is inside the housing. I just wanna make sure the moisture or whatever doesn't get trapped in if I reseal. Thanks for the input everyone!

Correct sir. You would not need to crack them open.

No need to crack them open.Do what you can to get the condesation back so you can see it. Remove the light and take out all bulbs. Use a blow dryer on high and heat up all the areas that you see the condensation. The water should evaporate and exit the holes where your bulbs go in. Then use silicon around the seal to help cover up any holes where moisture could go into the light again..
