Help with Ambient Lighting? - Camaro5 Chevy Camaro Forum / Camaro ZL1, SS and V6 Forums

I recently received the ambient lighting from AAC and I dropped the fuse tap under the seat and am unable to find it. Can I tap into another 12V source in the car? If so, where and how?

Awesome bro!

I did the same thing this morning and am happy with the results. Only snag is that one of the strips had 3 bad LED's on it. No big deal but I'll hit up the seller to see what can be done.

My next big item is to switch out the stock aqua instrument cluster with a red cluster. My door abl LEDs are in the mail too. Can't wait!

Does yours come on when you open the doors? Or how? I thought about wiring mine to the cigarette lighter, so if I forget to turn them off then they will go off automatically.

I recently had them attached to the dome, but then I switched it to the cigarette lighter so they only come on when the car is in gear. I tried the switch, but it didn't work. I tapped into the positive and negatives of the led strips. Then I used the cigarette lighter for power and my switch had no response. Any ideas?

Did you ground the switch?
