Well, Looks like I'm keeping it!

If anyone has followed my build, tuning issues, and sale.... this may come as a surprise. I offered the car for sale on here and a few other sites this spring, and it didn't take too long to make a deal to sell the car. The buyer put a downpayment in my hands with the balance to be paid by July 31st and I agreed to store the car for him. Well it's now late November and he still hasn't completed the sale and the sales contract is now void. I thought about re listing it for sale, but instead am going to keep it. So I guess Ill hang out here a little longer, and continue to enjoy the car!

My only regret is storing the car all summer and missing out on driving/modifying (except for cfest) it. Time to pick up where I left off! Glad to be back!

For now, yes. I don't feel right keeping it, but I did lose an entire driving season with my car. It was a substantial downpayment, and he did sign a contract that forfeited the deposit if not paid in full by October 31st (the end of the good driving weather here in Ohio). I will probably return some of it in the spring even though I don't legally have to. Just seems like the right thing to do.

Don't feel bad a deal is a deal sounds like you held up your end.private deals like that can be tough at least you had enough sense to keep car . You would be surprised how many people get taken

Very noble of you. Depending on how large the amount is I would hope I would do the same in your shoes because I know many would take the money and never look back

I'd be one of those. A deal is a deal. Actions have consequences.

I think there are some still in my profile. It's now lowered an inch and sits on Factory reproduction 20 inch ZL1 replica wheels (20x9 275 fronts, 20x11 315 rears). wheels are gloss black with an IOM pinstripe.

Nice looking car. Looks burnt orange in some pics and then red in others. I would keep it.

Thanks! Yea, IOM does that in different lighting..plus most of those pics are cell phone pics. Time to start looking at cosmetic changes for 2014. Time to freshen it up a bit!

Glad you kept it! Why did you want to sell it to begin with, if you don't mind me asking?
