sub box question
Guys real quick question.
If an amp is screwed into a ******** sub box and the amp is taken off, will the remaining screw holes compromise the box sound quality? |

they shouldn't, unless there are really big holes in it.

If the holes go all the way through you'll get a nice air leak... Not sure if you'd really notice it or not quality-wise. I would squeeze some RTV in there just in case, just be careful of the carpet.

We'll that depends on if it is a slead or ported box. Ported box I would not worry about it too much a sealed box you won't to be just that sealed and you can tell if it sealed buy pushing on the subwoofer cone and you should get a slow return if you can push on it and hear air coming out of the box over time you can damage the woofer but if we are talk small holes I would not worry about it to much. You can always plug the hole by putting the screws back
