I think you posted while I was still writing my comment. Thanks good to read your post, makes sense to me when I read it like that. So for example, its like having 4 degrees of advance ground in but then not having the combo peak lower.

Is there only 8 afm lifters in L99? What are the other 8, ls7 or caddy racing?

No there is 4 afm lifters and the rest are regular lifters.

I think the Lingenfelter kit comes with 16 lifters.iirc

8 AFM lifters so we offer our base kit with 8 LS7 lifters. You can easily upgrade to all 16 if you want to do the whole set.

I have a VVT3 from Texas speed that I was going to use on my build but went a different direction. I would give someone a good deal if they want it
