I should have said not all V6 owners, lol. Nothing wrong with a V6, they are quick! Actually surprised the hell out of me when a friend of mine took me for a spin.

With the rumors about the new Mustang getting a turbo 4 that actually outperforms and is more expensive than a 6 cyl, one would imagine GM at least looking into it.

The only numbers that most performance minded people concern them selves with are the performance numbers, not the number of cylinders. If you`re more concerned about the sound that comes out of the exhaust that`s fine, me myself I want to see impressive G ratings, 0-60 and 1/4 mile times and if it can deliver decent to good gas mileage then all the better. I don`t give a damn if comes from 2,4,6 or 8 cylinder.

I just love a v8 period...but not withstanding the 1000 + hp turboed 4 bangers out there. If the 4's can do that in the camaro then I am in.

Throw a tune on the turbo 4 and suddenly your looking at TQ numbers closer to 400. Yes right now the rumor mill seems to think the Mustang base car will be the V6, with the T4 being an optional engine which likely will have more torque, and better highway gas mileage. I'd guess that GM is doing the same.

I agree, still can't figure why no one will compare turbo V6 to turbo 4 on this thread. Any performance (HP and TQ) you get from FI of a 4 banger, you can get with FI V6 or FI V8.
