Too much mileage for 2012?
I found a 2012 LT for about $25,850. It has
29,438 miles on it. Thinking about talking to the dealer about getting it reduced to $24,000 or $23,500. What do u think? |

I would pass on that. Even at $23,500. This is a bad time of year to buy but still. With those miles, no way...

Too many miles, there's a better deal with low mileage out there, it'll find you or you'll find it

yeah bud, I would definitely search some more . . . I just bought a 2012 LT M6 with 4000miles , perfect condition and victory red for 20,200$ out the door . . it was a great deal, but just an example if you really search, you'll find what you're looking for.

Trust me a car like that with that many miles has seen a ton of highway miles...doubt it's as bad as people are saying.
HOWEVER, I am buying another SS today, 2010 33k miles for 23.5...so look into finding an SS. |

I agree. My 1LE is less than two months old and has 5100 miles. I can easily say it's probably one of the best cared for cars on this forum. I clean the bottom of the damn car every other week. Wheels-off cleaning every weekend. It's insane. Not all cars get this kind of care but you never can know for sure. After all, the chances of a sports car being driven slow and gentle are zero. The only way to know a car hasn't been bashed is to buy a new one.

Granted my 2012 now has 40000 miles on it and it still runs like the day I bought it, but I too would pass on that car unless you can get the price knocked down to around $22000 or less, just remember this- it is THEM that need to sell the car.......and they will, but they wont get that price they are asking for, you just gotta do some negotiating

Pssssh.....I've had my car six months and am over 14,000. I suspect with summer driving coming up I will exceed 30,000 in one year of driving. Thank heaven for extended warrenties.

I bought my 2012 on November 30th 2011 and I'm just shy of 25,000 miles already -- almost all highway.
