Sure there are faster cars, better handling...

But camaros are the perfect combo of speed power, looks, price, meanness, and most of all, owner pride. Go find another make with the following and enthusiasm that camaro owners have.
I agree..people cant wait to give the op the thumbs down....im starting to think just because you own a Camaro doesn't mean you own a personality..or a sense of humour.....

You're only kidding yourself if you don't think that a similar level of pride, enthusiasm and loyalty exists over on the Mustang side of the street. "Bleeds Ford blue" is taken pretty seriously by more than a few.

I happen to like both Mustangs and Camaros as well as others on your list. Some generations I liked the Camaro/Firebird better, some the Mustang. Actually, I've liked all of the other cars we've owned well enough to keep them a minimum of about 7 years, but that wasn't ever from being or becoming anybody's fanboy. They were simply the best choices of the times, with a strong emphasis on "fun to drive".

In late 2007/early 2008 the opportunity to choose between a new Mustang and a new Camaro wasn't there. Even if there had been, it isn't possible for me to say whether I'd have bought the Mustang all over again or gone for the Camaro. Each car has its strengths, as well as a few weaknesses, and there's no way to shop the two cars today with the same frame of mind that I had almost six years ago. Hell, seven or eight years ago even a Mustang wasn't on the horizon.

Remember that no mfr offers up all the right answers for every customer. The combination of factors that you see as being perfect for you may not be perfect for me even if we both owned the same model car (some would be more important to you, others of greater interest to me).

Dont get me wrong, there are some cars that are just awesome.. barracudas, even furys, chargers, olds 442s, grand nationals, gtos, etc.

But something about the Camaro.. its just the right amount of car, size coupled with looks. All the models look badass.

IF you are arguing with a mustang owner just say, LX 4 cylinder, nuff said.

If you are arguing with a charger owner, just say, 4 doors, looks like a lowered mini van, nuff said.

If you are arguing with a challenger owner, tell him gas guzzler tax nuff said.

If you are arguing with a ricer, tell him his car sounds like a gillet fusion razer, nuff said.

If you are arguing with a GTr owner, tell him if you spent the same amount of money on your camaro as he did his gtr, your wife would kill you.

Bottom line, camaros are the best cars out there, if you dont believe that, shoot yourself.
First off, the Mustang doesn't have a LX 4 cylinder. How about a Mustang owner saying: When did the Camaro get out of the grave. It was dead for years, remember? No self-respecting GTR would let a woman run him around with a ring through his nose!

Style, yes. Performance for the money? No. Mustang beats it by thousands.

Ford GT40 (not Ford GT)

Street-legal Le Mans race car > 5Gen. Sorry.

If I win the lottery big, I'll have to keep my job becasue I'll waste all the money on one of them and drive it.
