I mean, if you really play those games that often, then there's really no need to upgrade to the newer system. Most people get newer systems to play the newer games. in the case of the xbox one, seems they are targeting more than just hardcore gamers, but to a wider audience. And who knows, the gaming experience might still be better than ps4. We won't know until both systems are out. xbox might be more "bang for your buck", without losing gameplay ability, compared to ps4.

Any reason why you can't have your 360 connected to your TV at the same time as an Xbox One?

No that impresses me as well. Going from just 15k servers for Xbox 360 to over 300k servers for Xbox One is pretty amazing.

Yeah I'll still be keeping my 360 to play older games, it's not like it'll self-destruct the minute my Xbox One enters the living room.

you know what would be amazing, since it's not backwards compatible...that if you do have both xbox360 and xbox one connected at the same time, if you could just say "connect to xbox 360", if it could just switch it over. kind of like the whole switching to tv/internet/music. Then the only thing people have to bitch about is having space for two consoles. lol

That would be ideal.

he's assuming 4gb is going to be all used up, from the OS.

But like stated, that's under the assumption 4GB will be dedicated to the OS, the other 4GB to gaming. Which is all just a numbers game and probably won't mean much as games are optimized for either console. Even though the PS4 might have more RAM available for gaming, I think the main advantage the PS4 will have over the Xbox is the fact it's going to be using GDDR5 versus the Xbox's DDR3.
