Pick up some used SS rims and powdercoat them black. Cost me about 500 for rims and 300 for powdercoating. I bought some general gmax all season tires, well worth it for looks but also the car feels so much better around corners and in wet weather. I have a few pics if you look at my profile.

Check Craigslist, get 20" ss rims for $400-600 depending on condition and if they have tires with them

I have a ls and I kept the stock rims since I dont have the money to spend on rims. For now I hydrodipped the trim rings and centers in a carbon fiber pattern. I also have the mrt v1. It is pretty loud. I think I would of been happier with the v2. Some pictures of the wheels can be found in this thread of mine..

hydrodipping is used if you want a pattern. Its also called water transfer printing and is the same kind of process they use to put like camo on a gun stock. They have a ton of patterns. If you just wanted black then I would just paint them.

Love my Heritage rims since its the retro look to go with the body style. I have considered removing the beauty rings for a change though.
I think somebody here's done the ring delete and has pictures... |
