Just joined this morning. Until recently, I have been focused on modifying my Jeep JK and am new to the Camaro scene. Also, we just moved to Jacksonville (Mayport) from Fort Worth, TX. I'm looking forward to meeting everyone. So, is there a monthly meeting schedule or do we just come up with plans and post them here? I've been looking through some of the old posts and saw some talk about cars and coffee. Is that something we all go to as well?

Well I drove over to Pier One, and I was the only Gen 5 there so I let them go and headed to the Auto Part store.

What else is there to do today???

The River City cruise was the only thing planned for today.

I was planning to go but I overslept this morning and didn't get up in time to get the car cleaned up and get over there.

Do you usually see more 5th Gens at the River City Cruises?

There are usually at least a few. River City Performance is a GM club. There are Camaros, Corvettes, Fire Birds, GTO's...

You can find them here. http://www.rivercityperformance.com/

Next FCC meeting will be Sat May 4th at 1200 Best Buy Town Center. I will stop and pick up some Pizza's for us, so come on out and Chow down.

Let me know if you are hungry so I make sure I buy enough.

www.first-coast-carmaro.com JD posted some of your Car pics from Krystal's. If you have a better one or if you are new just post them there and JD will add them to the scroll.

Last weekend I installed my blacked out accessories (tail light bezels and bowties). So far I haven't had the desire to do any real mods on it. I have a lifetime warranty on the engine, transmission, and supercharger. So, it makes me a little hesitant to mod it too much for fear of voiding the warranty. I know the dealership would have to prove that my mod caused the failure, but it's just a hassle to try and fight it. For now, 580hp is powerful enough.

Smart Idea about the MOD's, I was told that if you buy a HUMMER and take it off road, the warrenty is null and void. I wonder how many people got caught on that one.
How do the Black-outs look. I thought about doing that to mine but after putting the Afterburner tail lights in. I will have to check yours out. My next investment will be the sequential turn lights...easy install.

That stinks about the Hummer's warranty. I'm lucky that Jeep doesn't do that. I have heavily modified my 4 door Jeep (re-geared, suspension lift, cold air intake, lots more) and have taken it off-roading a ton of times and still am covered under my warranty. I assumed Hummer's would have the same coverage.

I think the sequential turn signals are kinda neat, but I don't ever want to be accused of "copying a mustang". So, I think I will stay away from that mod.
