Performance differences in wheel size?

I've tried searching and I'm sure it's been asked before, but how much do the size of the wheels influence the performance of a 2012 LFX?

Bigger = heavier = slower.

If you change your tire dia. (smaller) it will change your rear end ratio gear here is a chart.

I shaved nearly ten pounds per wheel and reused my stock 1LS tires when I got my ASA GT-5's from Tire Rack. I think they were something under $180 each at that time, delivered. Discount Tire dismounted the tires from the old rims, mounted them on the new wheels, balanced them and reset the TPMS for $100-ish. They also do no charge rotations and rebalances at 5K miles.

You need to change the tire height - not the diameter. If changing tire diameter caused your speedo to be off about half, if not more of the LS guys would be screwed.

Grab some of the 18" aluminum 1LT wheels if you want something cheap and lightweight. Its what I did. Oh what a difference it makes
