I have some rash I need to take care of myself and was looking for a DIY. I found that PaintScratch.com has Midnight Silver (WA263M) but haven't found it locally. I read on some thread around here that the DupliColor ScratchFix 2in1 GM340 Silver Metallic was a close match so I picked up a bottle at my local O'Reilly store but haven't tried it yet. I would imagine a deep scratch would probably call for a little body filler or putty, but I'm not sure which.

I never drive my car through the bank, I always get out and walk just because of the fear of this happening..
I would also never leave my car parked at a game. I would never be able to enjoy it. I would take my 99 lexus and be safe then sorry..

I also find it insanely difficult to reach the atm from the car. just sits too low with too low a profile. the one time I tried ended up having to practically climb out the window.

Apologies for not getting back sooner. Here is a pic of the offending wheel. So mad at myself. I'd only told my wife not to curb the wheels when she borrowed it not two days earlier, and she managed it fine. At least it took me almost 3 years to do it.
I've looked online for a replacement wheel, but looks like they are all around $250 for a single wheel. When I next go in to my dealership, I'll see what they charge for wheels repairs or if they can recommend anyone. Rangers won, so that was a nice end to the day! Would be nice to get some new wheels, but they just aren't in the budget right now unfortunately.

That doesn't look bad. I bet no one will notice it unless they are told about it.

Does anyone know of a local place in the DFW area that does wheel repair, even mobile wheel repair, that they would vouch for?

http://www.camaro5.com/forums/showthread.php?t=222661 Pinstriping can cover light curb rash, especially if you run over the rash with a little sandpaper first. |

I totally agree. Good chance to convince the wife!

Oldbie that nobody knows

The only places I've ever curbed my wheels were at banks. They're the absolute worst place to go to get curb rash. I'd just park and walk inside or to the ATM machine.
