I think Carl's mindset has more to do with growing up in a wacked out world and seeing the consequences of a very limited number of actions. His decision-making process is skewed purely because all he's seen are negative results.

Where Shane and The Governor made their decisions out of a lust for power and control, Carl is making decisions purely out of a desire to survive and protect.

It should be interesting to see where it leads

Yeah I definitely want to see where it goes with Carl. I never got the impression Rick was a weak dad so I don't see him tolerating Charles Bronson in the ranks. Not to mention his own son basically bitch slapping him with a discussion on ethics and murder. He told Rick his mom died because he let Andrew get away.

A father/son mushroom cloud meltdown is in the works and good LAWD are those battles nasty.



Come October I'm buying a 5 gallon barrel of popcorn and making it 3 flavors too! Regular, cheesy, and caramel.

I don't think Carl's completely gone, but if he sees someone as a threat he'll take them out without hesitation. On the other hand he's still willing to help people out like Tyreese's group.

It'll be interesting to see where he goes in the future.
