The orange rendering looks interesting.

Yep, the orange rendering looks pretty good (assuming it wouldn't have the diffuser go way up the back). Basically a 2010-2013 w/ 2014 Tail Lights. I like that and would consider it a slight improvement over the 2010 - 2013 car, but the Corvette guys would go ballistic if that had been done.
The Corvette rear on the other hand is absolutely horrendous. Taillights are fine. The rest of the rear is horrid. |

This looks good. Now it just needs quad tips. Great job on these by the way Maybe we could call it the Camette or a Cormaro ...JUST KIDDING.

OMG...what you say in the first post is what everyone thought the redesign would look like is the worst thing I've ever seen! I haven't seen such a HUGE, angular, hideous rear end on an automobile since the Aztec was introduced...but maybe GM can produce that one with a pop-out tent and call it a Camparo...lol. You can't take a car that's basic design is based on curves and slap an angular rear end on it and call it done...it just doesn't work.

The really bad thing about the new look rear is that it takes away one of the most modded areas of the current car. I don't mind the new facelift but it doesn't seem conducive to back out panels or bezel mods.

We need to get the guys from ACS bumpers, the one who make the Transformer bumbers to do this rear bumper for the 2014 Camaro. Im willing to bet it would be a big seller. Enough to develope it at least.
