Heres some iPhone pics of the dynamat and the subs i just put in. Eventually i want to make some panels to fill in the gap between the sub box and the sides of the trunk where i can mount some amps. The system itself is nothing special. it is the MTX Magnum Bass Package. 2 10" subs 400 watt RMS. 800 watt Class D amp. Im not trying to win awards here just wanted a little more thump in the trunk

Time for an update.....
Went to the dealership and finally got my PDIM updated. I had to go in for an oil change and I brought up the PDIM issue and showed him the GM bulletin. Honestly I rarely use the USB unless Im charging my phone. I usually stream music through BlueTooth. But just in case I wanted to have the updated module and software. Got it installed no problem or questions asked.

After the great service with the PDIM I figured Id check with the parts department about the ZL1 parts. I got a list online from 2SSRS.

Initially they wanted the list price but they said theyd give me 10% off since I bought my car there. That wasnt going to cut it though since I priced it out from a bunch of other places. Needless to say after some light negotiations, I was able to get 20% off. I got all of those parts for under $1200 and they will be at my dealer by next week some time. I think thats a pretty good deal considering most vendors want that for JUST the bumper and I got the bumper AND rockers. If I pushed a little more I probably could of gotten 25% off.

Lastly I rewired my footwell lights so that they come on with the dome but I can also turn them on manually when the dome is off. I also swapped out my blue dome light for a white one. I like the blue but since this car is my daily and needs to actually be somewhat practical I put white ones in so you can actually see what you need to look at. I also ordered a white LED strip from AAC so I can install some rear courtsy lights. Im still waiting on those. Ill be sure to post pictures when I can. Take it easy people!

Picked up some boxes from my dealership on monday



Got them painted tuesday and im probably gonna install the side skirts today after work. Still waiting on some harnesses and hardware for the bumper. hopefully get that on over the weekend.

I was having some rattle issues in my trunk from the pressure release vents and the trunk lid since i added in my subs. got some weatherstripping from lowes and added it to my trunk lid and to the vents and it pretty much fixed most of my trunk rattle issues. still getting a little rattle from the rear deck but i plan on dynamatting that when i upgrade the rear speakers. heres some pics of the pressure release vent fix.




Hopefully the next set of pics will be of my car after i get all the parts on there also post some pics of the interior work ive been doing. Take it easy C5

Alright the planets were aligned and I was finally able to get some somewhat decent pictures of the new mods. Car is still kinda dirty but its better than it has look in awhile. DD in the winter has taken its toll. I would of shined her up real nice but its....26 degrees out and theres suppose to be another snow storm next week. Side skirts and bumber installed. made some front splash gaurds too. Waiting on my a new set of DRL housings before I can add in my DRL harness and wire in my fog lights. Also waiting on a new set of H11 LEDs. I also finished my interior LED lighting but ill have to post pictures of those tomorrow or monday. But here are some new shots.
