I learn something new every day. Now, I just need to figure out whether or not that is indeed the case before my next auto purchase.

Looks like Active Fuel Management was listed in there...I imagine the only way to "change" that system.....is off or on!

Who wants a loud ride when you are cruising in 7th gear anyways? I like having an exhaust with a bit of growl, but that your ears aren't ringing after an 800 mile drive.
OH NO 450 (at least) Horsepower and torque with the fuel economy of a 4 banger when needed. And they fixed the AFM drone. THE HORROR THE HORROR! |

I can relate to what you said about ears ringing...my car has a switch installed for the muffler valves...I tried a road-trip with them full-open all the time because it sounded cool. I learned my lesson, and now I leave them closed when cruising long distances. |

I want it loud, I want the drone, and if my teeth don't hurt by point B then my exhaust isn't properly configured. But if it sounds like a 4 banger at any point NOT INTERESTED. |

The C7 is such a sexy car, it's highly tempting. But the lack of rear seats just precludes it as a car for my stage of life.
My family is the most important part of my life, and to have a toy that I can't share with my family is not tenable. Like the stereotype, the Vette is a car for old guys with no kids (in the home).

The biggest problem with the 2014 Corvette is this:
Look at the rear bumper. It says the word "CORVETTE". To me it is very UNNECESSARY to have to spell out the word 'CORVETTE' on the car at all, anywhere. (It ruins the styling completely) Last edited by 2001ragtop; 01-18-2013 at 12:36 PM. |

After reading & watching everything I can about the C7, my biggest problem with it is the use of the name 'Stingray'. I just don't see much of anything to connect it to the older Corvettes or the funny looking fish

My biggest problem... Too much exterior plastic or grey/black material. Solution, but the car in dark green, grey or black which is a shame because a Corvette should rock bright red and yellow like no other car can.
