Selling our Camaro need some suggestions
My wife just got a new job and the commute is just to far to drive the SS every day. We both love the car and hate to sell but it just doesnt make sense to pay $600 a month for gas alone. Any suggestions for a fast sports car like BMW or Audi that gets in the 25 mpg range?

i am sure the S4 or S5(both are S/c v6), and 335i (Twin turbo I6) get 25 MPG. and they are fast.

How bad is the gas mileage in the SS?!?! I got 26 mpg in mine on the hwy on a 600 mile drive. My commute is 80 miles a day FWIW. At 25MPG you are going to have to grive a looooong time to recoup any savings. You're going to take a big hit on resale and to recoup that its going to take a while there too. You're prob better off to buy a Miata or Civic for $8000 and daily drive it daily and keep the SS.
If you pay $600 per month in gas for the SS get something that gets double the mileage on 87octane, use the $300 a month you save to pay the $150 a month payment on said civic/miata. Pocket the other $150 you saved.

Keep the Camaro and buy a Cruze Eco for the commute. The two combined will be cheaper than a fast BMW. Fast and BMW starts in the 60k range.

You should buy a used car that gets in the 30+mpg range and then keep the SS. Doesn't have to be anything extravagant, just something that is in decent condition for point A to point B. Thats what I would do anyways, you'll take a large hit on the SS for resale so I think if you get rid of it your hurting yourself more then helping. Also I average 24-26mpg on the highway in my SS.

Stay in the Camaro family and get a V6 with manual tranny. I'm getting 30-ish on the highway and she's still breaking in.
