I read this post when it was posted. Had an appointment this morning at local Chevy dealership. Talked with the service manager and he had no clue.
According to them there is t any other clutch master cylinder.
What's accurate. I don't know.
Just know that my local dealership isn't aware of any new clutch master cylinder.

Subscribed! Hopefully a little more detailed info surfaces. I just bought the IdealG master on monday night and it should be here tomorrow so It would be great to know if the factory replacement will actually be better. Please report back with all finds!

Wow. I'd have seriously renewed faith in GM if they had a real fix for this 2nd gear grind problem. Until now, it felt like they were ignoring it/us.

Just picked up the car an hr ago will take pics of part numbers and post once I get back to work. Excited to see the outcome. Drove amazing. I dont lie. I have no need to lie.
