Corsa Sport, SLP PowerFlow and American Thunder Owners!
For anyone that has these exhaust systems on your SS, I think I have narrowed it down to these and I want some help to decide.
Just want to ask, how is the interior noise and drone on your car with what you have?? Any regrets for getting what you have now?? |

I'm not sure I know what drone actually is. My AT's (see my sig for all the air flow mods) with stock cats has a beautiful, deep, old school muscle car tone. It is audible in cabin between 70-75 but only at times, like higher RPM's going up hill. It doesn't bother me at all and reminds me I'm actually driving. I am getting hi flow cats soon and possibly switching to LT headers so I will see how it sounds then.

No regrets at all with AmThunder.Love the deep tone. Some people say the drone is terrible. I say drone is overated and never really noticed it at all when all I had was Catback and CAI Intake. When you start adding headers,FI, Cam etc The exhaust is real deep and loud and can make your ears bleed.

Love my corsa, No interior noise (even with my cam) while cruising and sounds phenomenal during acceleration!! Also is made of 304 stainless steel so it will last forever. I had flowmasters on my truck and after a few winters worth of salty roads they rusted off.

http://www.camaro5.com/forums/showpo...46&postcount=1 This is the video that helped me pick out my exhaust-I do not have headers yet,but will in the future. It is not much louder than stock inside the cabin, but is louder and lower than the stock exhaust-I have the LS3,it has some drone at 1700-1900,but it is not unbearable(too me)

My dad went with the Flowmaster American Thunder for his 2011 2SS Camaro, and I think it sounds great. He also put on SLP long tube headers, and the headers just amplify that. He did want to quiet it down a fair bit after the headers install, but it still sounds great. All in all, he does seem to like his setup.

Did you check the SLP LMII? The SLP Powerflo was too quiet for my tastes. If you want that deep rumble that a V-8 should have, the LMII are better sounding than the Powerflo.
